Coralliocaris graminea (Dana, 1852)
This small shrimps lives among the branches of stony corals. This specimen was caught at about 5 m depth when diving along the SE coast of Santo. The color of the shrimp closely matches the color of the living coral. The body is flat, so the shrimps can move easily between the branches of the coral. It is hard to collect them as they hide very well, keeping a clear eye on you.
